This massively reduces the # of viable combinations I made 4 custom characters as I did not trust any of the premades. Only one stat point per level, low # of skill points to distribute to skills that only give small increases such as 1 percent, 3 percent, etc. I feel this game is very restrictive in regards to what types of characters and party you can build. Go into combat mode, and split one party member off to go steal stuff. What you can do in instances where your large party size makes it impossible to steal something unseen is to take the party to a secluded area where no NPCs can see you. Also, if ANY of your party members are seen, it will count as your steal attempt being spotted, even if they aren't the one stealing anything. But I've had weird exceptions, like the locked store-room in Cotra. Generally speaking, if you can't see the NPCs, they can't see you. So even if you plan on junking an item, it is best practice to click on the item to add it to your inventory, check whether the message says you were caught or not, then once you confirm that you were not caught, you can then CTRL+Click on all of the stuff you want to steal. If you steal something and put it directly into your junk-bag (Through CTRL+Click) the message won't appear!!! (But it will still aggro the gaurds!!!) ![]() But ONLY if you steal it and put it in your inventory. The message pops up (and will pop up in the bottom left of the Inventory Screen) when you steal something. I also didn't know the +5% to Hit from Longbows and Broadswords added to available armour for mages.Īs for stealing things. This whole time I thought priests were under the same restriction as mages.
